Would it be considered an abomination to God if you have social phobia ?

   As tough as it may be…and BELIEVE ME I have an ever increasing LIKE of being ‘alone too’ with the way the world is going, IT IS ‘what God wants us to do’ …we are put here to ‘interact’ with other people just like our own ‘species.’ It is NOT the ‘sole purpose of life’ but it is the FUEL we use to ‘get there.’ So I don’t know about the word ‘abomination’ but it IS what God expects of us…doing WHATEVER to make a ‘positive’ difference however little or big in the life of others. PHOBIAS of ANY kind are based in FEAR. And we are not to FEAR anything but GOD. Fear ‘defeats our lives’ and makes our lives helpless, hopeless and unhappy. I creates ALL SORTS of mental illnesses and cause us pain. So ‘aside from God’s thoughts on the social aspect’ ANY PHOBIA is to be ‘overcome’ in order to fulfill your life in a ‘good way.’ I guess in your case you must IDENTIFY all the reasons or HAPPENINGS that made you AFRAID of social contact, and then put those ‘fears’ into perspective and find a stategy to ‘do battle with them!’ YOU must do the work, but a pro CAN help guide you in the right directions.
   As for your statement about God. I would have to ‘wonder’ about the use of the word abomination. BUT assuming Gods REAL intent WAS to ‘use this word’ its important to put it into persepective regarding WHY he felt the need to use such STRONG LANGUAGE. Many will ‘differ’ with me on the following assessment, but it IS how I BELIEVE.
   God was faced with ‘quite a challenge’ …he had ALREADY created Angels immortal and was unable to destroy the 1/3 rd and Lucifer (turned Satan) who ‘turned bad’ and decided to TRY to overthrow his RULE. God didn’t EXPECT their actions. How COULD He really…in his ALL powerful and ALL knowing and ALL loving ‘type of mindset and being’ the IDEA that ‘ANYONE’ would CHOOSE a life directed toward EVIL and BAD was, I THINK, beyond his comprehension UNTIL IT HAPPENED. So when making mankind, he made them able to ‘die’ or be ‘killed’ instead of immortal. THEN..it happened again. Mankind began totally ignoring EVERY RULE of life he ‘set down’ for them to follow. The pages of especially the old testament (when God had a more direct communication with man) show his RAGE and ANGER and DISTRESS at their continued BREAKING of laws, over and over and over. I THINK sometimes people misunderstand this sort of like teenagers misunderstand the RULES their parents make. I think they begin to ‘think of these rules’ as SIMPLY a tool that God uses to ‘SHOW HIS POWER’ over us or ‘TO MANDATE HIS POWER’….like a dictator. HE is a dictator, but a ‘perfect one.’ But what is so often OVERLOOKED is that God set down these RULES, LAWS and such in order to make OUR LIFE, OUR WORLD and our health GOOD and to PROTECT US from ‘evil’ as well as protecting us from our own DUMB and imperfect SELVES! So God’s STRONG LANGUAGE was ‘just the same type of tool’ used by distraught parents when TRYING to SAVE the lives of rebellious teenagers who are doing things that CAN AND WILL destroy their lives.
   So the WHOLE BIBLE is sometimes WORDED STRONGLY but it is FOR OUR OWN GOOD because GOD KNOWS what ‘will happen’ to our lives IF WE DO NOT OBEY. And it really isn’t JUST OUR LIVES we play with when we ‘disobey God’ and HE knows THAT TOO. Others are ‘watching’ and often say to themselves, “Well if they can do that ITS OKAY for me too.” And most especially our ‘children are watching’ and forming THEIR LIVES by our EXAMPLE. That, to GOD, is like a potential ‘epidemic’ of HURT and BAD and HARM. HOW DO WE KNOW THAT? We have to take that ‘on faith’ IF we are a believer. If we are NOT a believer, then you learn HARD and through having your ‘human choices’ GO BADLY. Sometime in EVERYONE’S life, they turn to God in prayer and (although some might DIE before they admit it) THEY PRAY to GOD to ‘guide them’ and ‘help them’ through YET ANOTHER MESS, either they, or other humans have put them in.
   NO ONE IS perfect and God HATES NO ONE, but he does ‘hate’ (if that is possible) the ACTIONS that HURT ‘his creation.’ And to Him its a ‘simple matter.’ He knows the path that will lead to happiness and RIGHT, but over and over, mankind has CHOSEN with its own GOD GIVEN FREE WILL, to do the opposite!
   Boy we really are a species that learns the HARD WAY, aren’t we!
   Go out there and begin to understand that PEOPLE are not to be feared, but pitied, helped, and UNDERSTOOD to be imperfect JUST as we all are. Everyone is on their ‘own level’ of LEARNING in this life…so some are ‘stronger and better’ than others are……but I HAVE SAW AMAZING changes in peoples lives….LOTS OF THEM, so GO WITH FAITH….BUT MAKE CONTACT with your fellow humans and HELP in whatever way you can. But do understand that you must use ‘wisdom’ that comes from the Bible, in order to AVOID situations where other people might harm your life. That ‘reading of the Bible’ will give you the STRENGTH and FAITH you need to face the many problems without FEAR.
