<p>You need to learn to control this fear and you need to know that the fear is irrational and that it can be beaten.  Facing those fears head on is one technique that many people use to overcome the fear as once you face it head on you will begin to realise that the problem isn’t as bad as you thought.</p>

In emergency cases, the treatment begins with them, and the doctor gradually replaces them with other medications like the tricyclics or selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors. </p>
<p>As antidepressants like tricyclics were once very popular anxiety attack medications. Now doctors prefer the selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors because they have fewer side effects than tricyclics. These medicines have to be taken for a long period to be effective.</p>
<p>Some patients refuse to consult a doctor despite their problems due to the embarrassment they feel in doing so. This is not a wise measure by any means. Anxiety disorder is an ailment, not a stigma on the patient&#8217;s character in any way and having it is a matter of misfortune not shame. Get a treatment and live your life worthily.</p>
