An anxiety attack is not a pleasant experience for anyone. Anxiety is our body’s way of responding to a stressful situation. Everyone at some time in their life has experienced anxiety. My boyfriend and I are taking Amtrak, for a 27 hour ride. My boyfriend suffers from severe panic attacks and travel anxiety. We reserved a room so that we can lay down and feel a little bit isolated. We know it’s small, but he said it would help him. He is nervous enough about the ride, and i doubt he will be able to fall asleep with his nerves running wild. Besides listening to music, watching movies and reading, what do you recommend we do to keep entertained, to have fun, and to take his mind off traveling? Thanks!

I have anxiety disorder and bipolar. I know there is some link between stress and irregulars periods but the drs won’t admit this. I am not sure why. It seems when I am having different phases my periods are different. When I am manic my periods are light; when I am depressed they are heavy. Is it my period causing this change of moods or is it my moods causing the change in my flows?

Generalized anxiety disorder treatment, so what is it, should you be worried ? Well to answer that, yes very concerned. I want to point out the reasons why you should get help immediately after you get initial symptoms of generalized anxiety disorder. The longer this condition goes untreated the more chance you have of it turning into other conditions. That is a fact.
Get generalized anxiety disorder treatment before it gets out of control!

If I get very stressed out, which is fairly often, I have trouble taking full breaths. Unfortunately, I’m stressed out the most when doing something I’m not doing, like running, and I just joined the cross-country team…
I’m planning on doing some research on anxiety disorders before I talk to my doctor and anything you can tell me would be great.
