Panic disorder – can anyone help?
It began with panic attacks, but now I have found myself planning my life so as to avoid having an attack. I only really feel safe in my house. Anyone know of anything that can help panic disorder like aromatherapy, meditation, etc… do any of you use them and how do they work for you?

Hi Robert, well i’ve been dealing with that Anxiety/Panic attacks for the about a month and half. Look there;s a lot things you can do about it the question is which will work fro you.? your gonna have to try them.. for me honestly took pills Lorazepam for bout 3 weeks and stop them been with out them lil bit over a week and here i am. the side affect of those pills are ugly didn’t happen to me but don’t wanna deal with them or run to them whenever i feel bad. the best thing to do is control your self with positive thought doing exercises mostly. do normal life. try ur best to control ur self.. you need to learn how to do that. that’s what am doing.. is it working.? hey it takes time =)
but am doing it step by step.. everytime i feel the symptoms i tell my self “relax.. calm down.. everything it’s ok nothing wrong it’s gonna happen to me.
i went to 7 different doctos for this problems got 6 EKG X-RAY done and everything is normal so the best thing to do is control ur self and believe in God he’s the best for him nothing is impossible.!

Untreated panic attacks do have a tendency to become panic disorder, because in addition to the panic attacks, you become afraid of your next panic attacks -that’s when this viscous cycle begins.
There are many natural ways to stop panic attacks – I don’t know if aromatherapy will be enough. I know that cognitive behavioral therapy is very effective for this.

I used to suffer from them too, there are some natural things you can try like deep breathing or laughing. You can also try regular relaxation by doing yoga and meditation. If that doesn’t help, there is another program that i used that helped me. They have great techniques. You will benefit from never having to experience panic ever again. Actually now I am not scared of going on a plane or driving in a car like i used to be. It might help you too. Good luck.
