Is there any way to give yourself cognitive behavioral therapy without seeing a therapist?
You wouldn’t understand, but if I see a therapist I’d get fired from my job. And no, I work for a government agency so it wouldn’t be protected or anything. I have social anxiety disorder and major depression and I’ve been thinking about CBT for a long time.

Hope this helps.
I have never heard of anyone getting fired for seeing a therapist to help themselves. Please double check this and get the help you need. If you don’t get help you could end up loosing your job anyway.
yes, see below , it is even better
have your hormones checked, they can cause all this
Many people in the medical profession feel as though if they seek out professional mental health services, that they will need to report this to the state medical boards, and that this in turn may jeopardize their licenses. My advice is to find a therapist, pay out of pocket (not with insurance), and GET THE HELP that will aid you in helping your patients. Workers in the medical field deal with many human conditions, death, terminal illness, paralysis, and mental health issues; to assume that you can handle this yourself is ludicrous. We all feel the need to talk about it. You’re not alone. It’s healthy to seek someone to talk to.
