i believe so. in time..
Yes, with medication and counseling to learn coping strategies they do.
I myself have been stricken with extreamly sever Panic Attacks. I have had them for the last 12 years. I have taken meds which take the symptoms away but do not cure it. I know that some people get some relief by doing behavior modification therepy. But have never found a place that does it in my area.
people with panic disorder can get “better” but unfortunately there is no cure for the disease… the key is to learn to deal with attacks with things like breathing and distracting yourself combined with finding out what things trigger your panic and working to either weaken their power to trigger anxiety or to minimize contact with them as much as possible without altering your lifestyle (the most important part is dont change your life to avoid the trigger, the reason is this leads to getting worse instead of better eventualy leading to house-bound agorophobia, and that’s not a fun place to be)
I hope one day there will be a cure for panic attacks. I think that a lifestyle change would greatly help, that is, if you are in a bad situation. I have been suffering with panic since I was a small child. I hate them and I wish one day i could just feel normal. Dont forget to pray for a cure or the courage to change your lifestyle or life situations if that is what is needed.
