Are you sure it’s not asthma? If you’re worried about your breathing like that, you should definitely go to your doctor, if you can.
I don’t know any way to help, I told my dr. when that started happening to me. Staying away from caffeine is very important. Sugar also triggers me to feel panicky sometimes. I hate it, I just want to feel normal you know??!! Tell a nurse or doctor, and maybe find people you can talk to in your free time, from church or something.
Hi there. I have had these darn things for many years now, and it sounds to me like you are having anxiety attacks as well. The experts will tell you to focus on your breathing, but I honestly think that makes it worse. My suggestion? Try to take your mind off of it. Engage your brain in another activity, whether it be talking, web surfing, or simply watching tv or reading a book. I think they might be happening after school because your brain just had to absorb so much info, that it just needs a break, ya know? I hope this has been helpful, and best of luck to you!
your first priority should be sure that its anxiety and not something else. certain cardiac conditions mimic panic attacks, and vice versa as well.
Your doctor can help you sort through that to be sure, but it is very important.
I think plenty of sleep, a whole foods diet, magnesium supplementation, moderate exercise, and stress reduction activities like mindfulness meditation are effective when used together.
