I have had obsessive compulsive disorder for about a year now, and have been on Zoloft for about 6 months. How can I manage my disorder besides the medication?

just looking for a clear distinction as far as i can tell people suffering from social anxiety or social phobia don’t necessarily avoid social interaction they just experience anxiety in social situations and phyiscal symptoms are prominent while avoidants simply avoid social interaction due to feeling inferior to others and socially inept.. am i somewhat correct here? appreciate the help!

im 16 and im going on a school fieldtrip for 1 week. I get really nervous and scared when im not with my parents or people that im comfortable with. I am going to be on a plane and i get attacks when there is crowded areas or just out of no where. Does anyone have advice on how to go on this trip and not get homesick or get a panic attack and want to come home?

In our world today there are a lot of different kinds of phobias. Phobia is defined as a form of fear that is thought to be illogical or extreme. Usually in most situations, a phobia can include both an extreme and illogical fear. 

People that endure these types of fears do not always realize that their fear is illogical. On the other hand if someone does in fact identify their fear as being illogical, it can still be extremely difficult to conquer it.  Did you know that the body will experience a tremendous amount of stress when it comes to a phobia? The body responds to this stress by getting itself mentally and physically prepared to face the threat.

panic disorder= army discharge?

im a us army infantryman. joined the army july 08. and just got stationed at fort stewart, GA. i might be getting diagnosed with panic disorder this following monday. and for what the doc said, if my attacks are as frequent and uncontrollable, i might get kicked out of the army. can they do this? i want to stay in. and i do not want a general/dishonorable/other than honorable whatever under my record. are they going to kick me out? =/
