I am a panic disorder patient, my panic attacks started after a cycling accident. I hit the ground hard on my left shoulder, braking my coller bone, and dislocating my shoulder under my chin,” I was not wearing helmet at the time”. I was not treated for my panic disorder, for 9 years, I didn’t even know what panic disorder was at the time. I was finely sent to a doctor who told me what was wrong, he put me on Xanax, and the attacks stoped. I became a student of mental illness, I can remember reading about an experiment, where test subjects were given a drug that induced panic attacks. The test subjects were people who had no prior history of mental illness, I think the drug inhibited GABA in the brain. I can’t seem to be able to find the web page that describes this experiment. I want to find this, web page so I can print it, and add it to all of the other information I have on panic disorder. Does anyone know where I can this information?

Panic disorders are regarded as the after-effect of panic attacks. These are the forms of de-humanizing effects which an individual cope with after series of panic attacks and such disorders often result in serious situations which call for urgent medical help. Some of the commonest symptoms panic attack disorders are known or detected long after the victim start to show some significant depressive behaviour, lack of interest in some social activities, depreciation in academic or official duties and general loss of appetite. Anxiety and depression seems to be the main symptoms treated in most cases by psycho-therapist because such symptoms of panic disorder represent the highest level of attack the victim can get.
Panic attack disorder treatment can be handled in several ways , however the three most common ones include; psycho-therapy, medications, and natural remedies. Psychotherapy treatment of panic attack disorders involves the re-orientation of the individual victim about the likely root-cause of his or her problems. Under this treatment the psycho-therapist will make the patient look at the weaker side of the problems and then try to bring out the strength in such an individual with the aim of helping him or her stand against future panic attacks. This disorder solution works very well though it often takes repeated consultations as well as time.
