Can I grow out of high Generalized Anxiety Disorder? Or, Would I have it for the rest my life? Because it’s driving me crazy!

What is an Anxiety Disorder?

Anxiety disorders come in a variety of different forms, but, generally, they all have similar symptoms. The most common symptoms are a phobia or nervous condition that can keep a usually healthy and happy person from pursuing a normal lifestyle. Anxiety disorders can either come about suddenly or may slowly get worse over a number of years before becoming disabling to the sufferer.

Some of the disorders that fall under this category include:

·Agoraphobia,
·Social phobia,
·Specific phobias or fears of certain things that are harmless,
·Generalized anxiety disorders

Is there an age when you are more prone to developing Post Traumatic Stress Disorder? and why?

If you’ve been to the doctor lately about panic disorder medications were probably discussed. Panic disorder medications are often prescribed as an easy answer for the problem of panic attacks. While panic disorder medications to help quell some of the symptoms of anxiety… they really do nothing in actually treating the problem. Panic disorder medications should be used as a last resort not as a first line of defense.

Most doctors will fail to mention that panic disorder medications really are a last resort in curing your panic disorder. Doctors get money to prescribe these medications… so they often will recommend medications as a first line of defense against panic attacks… when they really should be the last line. Doctors like to take your money and send you on your way.

So…what exactly is panic attack and why do people start having them suddenly? The fact is this, panic attack can start for many reasons such as stress, overworking, angst, etc. The significance of this is that panic attack can strike anytime and anywhere for no apparent reason at all.

This is why people can get confused and thinks that they are going to die when experiencing panic attack for the first time. They start to associate panic attack with the situation they are in and avoid that particular situation. They start to think that they are in danger and they “know” they are going to faint or “have a heart attack”, which is totally untrue!

Facts About Panic Disorder


Usually, when you are experiencing fast heart palpitations, combined with dizziness, a sense of impending and irrational fear or terror, then most likely, what you are experiencing is panic disorder.
