What is the best way to deal with anxiety and panic attacks, especially during pregnancy?

What is Cognitive Behavioural Therapy?

Have you ever felt really depressed and stopped to think about why, and then realized that you experience these feelings on a regular basis? Depression is a pretty common affliction for people today, and it varies to different extremes. Some people might find that they become very depressed in very specific circumstances; that this feeling inevitably follows after certain events occur in your life. Many psychiatrists believe that the depression phase of the cycle can be avoided through various behavioural modification techniques, one of which is cognitive behavioural therapy. We will clarify and define this technique in this article.

Hi. I am 16, 6ft, and weight about 235 pounds. I am very fat, and I am desperate to lose weight, to build confidence.

I have agoraphobia and anxiety, and it is very hard for me to go out and exercise or join the gym. Is there anyway that I can lose weight then in the house. All I have are light weights. So, is there anyway to lose weight. Or could I lose weight walking around my park for an hour four times a week?

Thanks

I take medication for anxiety which doesn’t seem to fully help, which I am working on, but I have a test tomorrow that I am fairly well prepared for, but that I know I am going to have a panic attack during, just as I did last time. I don’t really know what all I can do to reduce my anxiety during the test and immediatly before, but any tips would be greatly appreciated!!! Thanks

I’ve had panic attacks now for 20 years. I’m on medication and it has slowed it down alittle. People don’t understand panic disorder unless the’ve had it themselves. Need to know I’m not the only one. Would like to keep in touch through e-mail and make some lasting friends along the way….Thanks
